Anubias Nana 'Peacock' is likely a cross-bred hybrid between classic Nana and another similar variation from the genus. This aquarium plant features deep green color and lightly rounded leaves with pointed tips. Like other plants, it's safe to assume that sp. Peacock is easy to care for and can be treated the same as other hardy Anubias plants. If you're looking for an easy care aquatic plant for your fish tank or terrarium, give this one a try.
Basic care requirements for Anubias include low to moderate light and a liquid plant fertilizer or source of nutrients. Because it’s an epiphyte, it can be attached to natural driftwood or aquarium rocks. Don’t bury the rhizome, and make sure it has good flow to get started. This family of aquatic plants is slow-growing and can develop algae on leaves if placed in low flow or under too much light. Learn to balance the key elements in a planted aquarium and you’re golden!
