I'm 57 years old, born and raised in Melbourne with a Hellenic (Greek) heritage that runs deep. I'm a larrikin, a troublemaker, a bloke who's never fit neatly into boxes - and I bloody well never will. </p><p>But this album isn't about me. </p><p>It's about <b>her</b>. </p><p>My partner, Sharonlee, is a proud Wiradjuri Woman. She's walked this ancient land almost as long as I've been alive, carrying stories older than empires, wounds deeper than any war, and a love stronger than any hatred I've ever known.<br>When we came together - a Wite bloke from the city and a Blak woman from the river - we didn't just fall in love. We built a bridge. And on that bridge, we started having conversations this country desperately needs to hear. </p><p><b>The book of lyrics for this album is one of those conversations.</b> </p><p>It's raw. It's uncomfortable. It's angry, joyful, painful, and hopeful all at once. It refuses to look away from our nation's darkest truths, but it also refuses to let hate win. </p><p><b>GENOCIDE</b> isn't just an album title - it's a word this country has avoided for too long. We're not here to shame you. We're here to remind you that <b>truth is the only foundation strong enough to build unity on.</b> </p><p>Sharonlee and I don't care if you're Blak or Wite, Labor/Liberal or One Nation, city or bush.
