Description
This striking artwork is meticulously handcrafted from hundreds of individual clay petal shards, arranged in a linear pattern. Each petal has subtle variations in texture that give the piece depth, movement, and a distinctly organic beauty.
The work is set within a white wooden frame and intentionally left unglazed, allowing you to fully appreciate the tactile, sculptural quality of the clay shards. The absence of glass invites a closer connection to the materiality and craftsmanship behind the piece.
Created using recycled clay sourced locally in South Africa, each artwork is made slowly and mindfully, reflecting a peaceful, human-centred process. Every piece directly supports employment and sustainable income for a remarkable local community of artisans.
True to the charm of handmade work, no two artworks are ever exactly the same—each one is a quiet celebration of individuality, craftsmanship, and conscious creation.
